Château Clerbaud is a historic French château set within the Parc de Clairbaudières – 60 acres of gardens, parkland & woodland in the Vienne region of central France. Carefully restored and reimagined, the château will offer a small collection of unique, high-quality self-catering apartments and suites that allow you to experience what it is really like to live in a château. All will be furnished with period antiques and styled to reflect different eras of its 800-year history.

Restoring, Conserving & Preserving with love and care

After decades without maintenance, restoration began in 2019. The project has involved complete rewiring & plumbing, structural repairs, restoration of original windows and shutters and careful preservation of historic features by our considerate and talented team. It is a huge undertaking with breath-taking results. Château Clerbaud is sympathetically being brought into the 21st century, the heritage and history protected for the future so that many people can enjoy and share it.
